I don't think their website is updated yet, but today I received Floyd Cove's gorgeous catalog of their Fall 2012 Daylilies. WOW! There are 14 new introductions, ranging in price from $100 to $175. And I cannot get over how beautiful they are! I'm particularly drawn to ROLLERCOASTER RUSH, SUNSET STRIP, RED BULL, FEELING THORNY, VOLARIS, CURB APPEAL and COOL RUNNINGS -- and of course I cannot possibly afford all of them! But maybe one or two... the decision making will be VERY difficult!

We got ours today, too. Betty, you are right---too many gorgeous new intros. I'll just have to wait a few years. We'll look forward to your pictures next summer.

Well the one I got last fall, XYLOPHONE JAZZ, never bloomed for me this year so I might not have any pictures of it/them next year if history repeats itself! But a couple of them that I really want say "Limited" or "Very Limited" so I'll probably order at least one this fall -- maybe the "Very Limited" COOL RUNNINGS...

Guy Pierce is coming to one of our daylily meetings in September. I wonder if he will bring some of his Fall intros to auction. COOL RUNNINGS is very pretty. It has the parent's Picture In Picture faded out eye and a huge ruffled edge. It is hard for me to pick out a favorite, but I do really like the one on the front cover, Great White Dove.

Isn't it beautiful? I actually love every single one of them and wish I could get them all. Ah well, so it goes! nodding Actually, this little nodding guy is green with envy about the upcoming Guy Pierce visit to your daylily club! I sure wish we had a daylily club near Bakersfield -- but alas, not so. The closest I can come is maybe a visit to Maryott's up by Santa Cruz. He did invite me to visit during hybridizing time, since he knows I'm interested in that, and hopefully I can take him up on it sometime.

Please take a picture or two if you can, and maybe he'll bring something in rebloom that you could get a shot of?

He'll probably fly into Atlanta and bring any auction plants bareroot or ship them in advance. Betty, I wish you had access to a daylily club near you. We are members of three and really enjoy going to meetings. We get to see and meet several hybridizers each year through the clubs and have a chance to bid on some of their most recent introductions.

They have a different picture of COOL RUNNINGS in the fall catalog. IMHO the one posted online isn't as yummy -- but I'll take either of them!

Stunning! I, too want them all. If I could only have four:

Curb Appeal
Dancing Jubilee
Great White Dove
Superstitious

And if I could get just one more, I would get Red Bull

I sure hope I can get these this fall. It would be wonderful to have all these rich fantastic colors to add to my garden.

I wish them the best of luck and success with their plants.

Red Bull has 11 branches and 80 buds. I think the (true) highest bc on any cv I have here in zone 7A is 48.

Several years ago I bought Maxfield Parrish and Enchanted April because of their high bud counts. Unfortunately they never lived up to their registration stats here in the north so I don't even take bud count into consideration when buying any more.
