Hey guys... as an early birthday present my parent's picked me up a crinum Hurray! Hurray! it's gorgeous and I want to do everything I can to make sure it thrives... where do I plant it? exposure? water needs? Confused Confused help help help!!

Hey, I've never planted one in AZ. I know we've discussed this before... maybe long ago. I did have crinum in Los Altos, CA. A long border of pink. They disappeared half the year and came back strong every season. Can't remember the cycle. Summer bloom? Didn't receive water except when I watered the dichondra lawn. They were planted at the top of a retired riverbed. Fertile. Sure pretty.

How is it doing in this heat? How did you end up planting it? Container?
