I love all of the little frogs in my garden, and although most of them stay close to the fish ponds, a few always take naps in the roses. Here's the one I managed to sneak up on today:

And here's the first bud on Expressions, a gorgeous rose Toni found for me in her neck of the woods and sent me in a huge box marked "Live Fish."

That is a perty rose! I like that one I will not buy any more pink roses, I will not buy any more pink roses....

Oh, you all missed the best part of the Expressions bloom. It was gorgeous today, but by the time I could take a photo, it had opened up all the way and the white reverse was hidden underneath the petals.

It's still completely and utterly beautiful. Mine has just a few leaves on it. I need to feed everyone this weekend.

I'm so glad you found this one for me, Toni. I eventually hope to get all the ones that were on that list I gave you. I found Macho Man at Regan Nursery and I bought Colossus from Eurodesert, so I'm whittling it down, little by little.

Sue, it's just like those other ones I have from Certified Roses that you and I love -- Luscious and Novelty: perfect buds and blooms, with well-defined margins. The colors never bleed into each other on those roses.
