Hello! I have a bamboo plant at home (it doesn't seem to be the same exact strain as lucky bamboo, and I'm not sure exactly which species it is, but I believe it is some type of bamboo unless I'm mistaken). We've had it for years, and it initially was in water, but for the past few years has been in a soil pot. I've only expanded the size to a bigger container once.
Lately, over the past few months, it's been increasingly having brown tipped leaves as well as leaves that initially turn all yellow/brownish and then end up dying. I've attached several pictures to this post for clarification. I've tried a couple of things in the past, such as trying to not over water or under water (the soil is a moisture control type), and to try and use filtered water since I've read that bamboo plants are sensitive to tap water. I don't know if it needs a bamboo specific fertilizer, or if that would end up harming it more. Basically, none of the things I've tried have successfully worked, so I wasn't sure how to proceed from there. I'd greatly appreciate any advice or help, thank you so much!
