Chantell, is there is there a lemon scented Begonia? I remember I had those for awhile but they did not do well for me. I for some reason thought I had a lemon scented one. ???????

There are plenty of lemon scented Plumeria (Celadine, for one) but they're not in bloom very much.

Gardenia Fortuniana

I do not think it is, but they should know. Oh God, I would love to be right just one time. I would have sworn I never owned a Fortuniana and I purchased it in 2010. <sigh>

JB ~ why don't you order a new G. fortuniana from them and then you can compare and prove them wrong (or not). LOL

If I may suggest, tuck the tag deep into the dirt where your pup won't get to it. She is just attached to you and your scent was on the tag if I could guess, not really being destructive.

Here I am, following you smelly guys around.

Chantell ~ pretty posies there. I am jealous!!!

Dogpack ~ I love the lemon scents too and found most are herbs. Like they said above, you have to rub the herbals to savour the fragrance.

Not knowing your location but most herbals won't survive the winters outside and prefer bright light in winter if brought indoors.

In the past I have grown lemon grass, lemon basil, lemon verbena, lemon catnip, lemon balm, lemon mint, lemon thyme.

My favorite is lemon verbena but I've never managed to overwinter it. I've made lemon verbena jelly and also use the leaves for tea.

The only one I grew this summer was lemon grass. I'm neutral on it but my cat pack likes to graze on it. I can't imagine that as I get paper cuts whenever I handle it. Shoe, how could you braid that stuff ?!??

If I recall, the lemon balm has a strong lemon fragrance when brushed against. Someone referred to it as the lemon pledge plant and I've never thought of it the same since.

If you have room for a dwarf citrus tree, their blooms smell wonderfully citrus also.

And if this makes no sense, it is because I need more coffee. Kristi

“Little girl, why are you doing this? You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!” After a few moments thought, she bent down, picked up another starfish & hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. Then she looked up at the man and replied, “Well, I made a difference to that one!” Be the change you wish to see in the world. http://www.stillsthatspeak.com...
