Hey everyone!
I am a 5 year graduate from Tafe where I am in Australia. Got a few qualifications in horticulture from landscape to general horticulture from level 2 to 3 certificates.
I am thinking about going back for the land conservation course by next year.
Hoping to complete my final tafe certificate.
I thought I share this pic of how my saltbush is growing. It's grown massively in my vegetable garden which is a high alkaline sandy soil but I added a dianella and a sage bush in there too which are growing massively. I was hoping to share my knowledge with you on saltbush varieties that grow wild here.
The salt bush has silver leaves and grows in deep sandy soil and it has purple and cream male and female flowers. It grows as a sub class shrub growing to a metre tall.
I am happy to discuss this with you guys! If you guys are interested please send me a reply.
The salt bush leaves can be eaten as a herb and cooked.
Also my dianella can be a fruit baring plant monocot.
Thanks guys! I been working within the wholesale nursery for 11 years in my job and my career.
Wish me a warm welcome ! I am new here.
