Does anyone throw, bone-meal or bulb booster in when planting?

I do use the bone meal when planting tulips and daffs

Thank you so much Jennifer! I think the NPK ratio is wrong and I only know that because I was talking to John Shooter (Marrietta Daylilys) earlier. I had put in a small order and they were out of something, plus I forgot to give them my phone number. So, I called them to let them know of a replacement and a delivery date.
So I began talking to this really funny man, after I gave him the order and phone number he asked if he could use my credit card, he wanted to go out to Red Lobster.
Anyway, after I got up off the floor, I started asking a lot of questions about fertilizer and rebloomers and stuff.
Then I asked about the fertilizer and he did not give me a brand but he said 16-4-8 and the number in the middle will lock up fertilizer if its too high. He uses Epsom salt to relax the soil and break it down. Also he said if you plant corn in the spot it will eat up the phosphorus also.
Next time I go to the feed and seed I will ask Tom if he has something with that ratio. But that is what he told me is good for Daylilies and I guess he should know.

I water my roses and daylilies in the Spring with a tablespoon of epsom salt to gallon of water. I had a rose that was not blooming good and it was suggested to use epsom salt.

Did it work? I have a couple that are not doing well.

That is beautiful, I have seen one like that but the name does not ring a bell. How wide are the flowers?? I love the big ones. I just added four more to my Maryott's order and one of them was THE TERMINATOR, the flowers are 7.5 inches wide!! WhooHoo!! Plus I got two BOGO's and something else, cant remember. But for adding to my order he gave me the weekly special, ARTISTICALLY ENGRAVED which is listed for 100.00. Plus the BOGO's are their own bonus. I love this company!.

Susan, here is a picture of a bud builder. It keeps building up the scape and can even look like a pig's tail if it keeps going around enough.

Unfortunately, this is a NOID, but I absolutely love it because it is one of the last to bloom for me.

Hey, there I love many perennials. I grow 2 beds of mixed perennials because I enjoy trying to have blooms most of the growing season. I also have 2 long rows of dls only. I can hardly wait until Spring!

I love my Royal Heritage hellebores. They bloomed in late Feb last yr.
