How do I post a URL so that it is a direct link to the site? I'm used to another forum where there is a specific place to post links. It's probably right before my eyes here, but somehow I am missing it. Apologies in advance for my ignorance......Maryl

The easiest way: if you just copy and paste the address into the post, it will automatically become clickable.

If you are familiar with bb code, that works here, too.

Glad to help! Feel free to practice here. Just select the web address, copy it, and paste it in the post. Make sure the http: part is included at the beginning.

Maryl it won't show as highlighted until you either check it in preview or post the message.

Margaret is right. And I always preview my posts containing a link to make sure it shows up right. You can also click on the link in your preview screen and open it in a new window so you can tell if the link takes you where you intended.

Just noticed that I had more replies. Thank you so much. I haven't had occasion to post another link on this forum, so will check it out next time using all the knowledge you all have given me.
