Yes, that's Pheasant Feathers, and it is just as bright colored as the photo looks on my monitor. It's very tall too, so it's quite striking.
I hope mine is still alive. My irises are growing in pots since I am having to recreate beds after a few years of construction and destruction on my property. I had no clue that drilling a water well could create a mudslide over a foot deep. Several years of severe drought have made matters worse. I am waiting for several dump truck loads of top soil now. Maybe in another year I'll be back to the point where I'll have extra rhizomes to share.
