Hi Everyone,

I would like to tell you about an awesome book that was written by the members of the Calgary Rose Society. This book has beautiful pictures that include photos of different varieties, how-to examples and cool photos of pest & diseases. There are great tips for preparing your roses for winter, in colder climates, and growing roses. There is also a section on propagation, as well as showing your roses at a Rose Show. All in all, it is a wonderful book and would be a great resource for anyone that enjoys growing roses, no matter where (zone) you garden. Most of the photos were contributed from the Society members as well. 150 pages of great info.

I have about 40 quantity to sell. Here's a link of how you can order. You can see a preview of the book on the link if you have Adobe. note: You will not find this in a book store.

Joanne,
the drop down menu for shipping information does not have any american prices. Is the phone number that is listed a Canadian number?
Can you find out how much shipping would be to the lower 48? And, if the price is $25 American dollars or was that just in Canadian dollars?
Thanks, looks like a good book and a fun activity for your group.
I tip my hat to you.
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.

Joanne sent me one of these books and I can assure you that it would be a great addition to your rose library. It's a large book (approximately 8.5 x 12 inches) and it's full of amazing photographs and useful information and advice. Although you might assume that it would be of special benefit to cold-weather gardeners, people in any zone will find pertinent information, particularly the sections on rose pests and diseases, which include photos of the damage they do.

Hi Cindi,

Sorry about that. We will have that fixed ASAP. It cost about $15 to send it to Zuzu in California, so should be about the same. The prices are Canadian $

Yes the phone number is Canadian, and you would dial 1 before the area code. Don't worry about the logistics - I will send you a book. I have left a message for the fellow that looks after the Paypal account to accommodate International shipping .
If you don't mind, send me your mailing address via Treemail and I will look after it

We should have the on-line ordering for International set up shortly

Zuzu, Thanks for you input. We cross posted!!

Looks like a good book.
Mine came this morning.
I'll spend part of the weekend reading, and part of it planting daffodils.

Hi Everyone,

I noticed that you have an interest in purchasing our book. Our Society is currently setting up a link on our webpage to allow US residents to purchase a copy online and pay with a credit card, using the arrangement we have with PayPal.

In the interim, I can have PayPal send you an Invoice to your e-mail address and, if you choose to purchase, you can pay online. We, at the Calgary Rose Society, are advised when you have paid the invoice to Paypal. Then we will mail the book to you by Small Packet Air, getting it to you in about a week.

Please write to me at:

richclay45@gmail.com

as I do not go to All Things Plants every day.

The Invoice for the book will be $25.00 + $17.00 Shipping for a total of Canadian $42.00. I will, of course, need your:

Full Name
Full Postal Address, including Zip Code
Home Phone Number

Sincerely,
Richard Clayton
