Lynda ~ That is great news! So glad you are finally getting better.

Thanks! My friend with cancer is in the hospital, she has sepsis and pneumonia. She fell in her bathroom on Saturday and couldn't get up. She can't walk. She's not eating, going for two to three days without eating. She's very fragile and very weak. The sepsis is from her chemo port, which was improperly put in. She might not be coming home from the hospital.

Lynda, can you possibly visit her? Regardless, your friendship, love and support means everything to her.

She is only allowed one visitor at a time. My other friend is going to her house to see if her son is there, he needs to be first to visit her. We haven't been able to get hold of him. He's been staying with her for awhile. IMO, totally useless. Everyone but her knows this. He just hangs around for money.

Well, if that's what brings her comfort...

Her condition has worsened. She doesn't recognize anyone. The nurses asked her daughter by phone if she has dementia. There have been signs of that, and they were there before her cancer diagnosis. I'm hoping what's happening now is just a reaction to her physical illness and all the drugs she's on. The hospital probably won't release her now unless it's to hospice or assisted living, which is what she needs. Her daughter has a little bungalow right on her property, so she will probably moved there when she leaves the hospital. That's the best thing for her right now. Her daughter lives in Arizona, about two hours from Tucson, and is a registered nurse.

So sorry to hear this Lynda, as I've said so many time, she is lucky to have you as her friend. And she's very lucky to have a daughter who is willing and able to care for her.

I'm watching a new series on Hulu. It's called Only Murders In The Building. It stars Steve Martin, Martin Shore and Selina Gomez

I was expecting wet comedy, which I don't usually like. But the title is strange so I thought I'd give it a try.

Based only on the first episode, this is one of the most touching things I have ever seen. No comedy, just the reality of...well, maybe our own lives? Each little detail of why is revealed along the way, like a tiny spoonful of a good desert after a delicious meal that makes you sigh, "oh..."

Obviously, I recommend it. Hulu runs 30 day free trial subscriptions, and I believe the current fee is $5.99 a month.
