I've been discovering more and more vegetables that will grow in a container.
Here's a few growing outdoors right now.
Radicchio is delicious raw in salads or cooked.
The arugula just bolted but went all winter long.
We'll soon be enjoying the remainder of the Dinosaur Kale. It also started to flower after growing all winter.
Snap peas planted at the end of January.
Nasturtium flowers are edilbe.
There are many other edibles to grow in containers. We're waiting until our last frost date to plant out the tomatoes and peppers that are sprouted indoors. A few of the tomatoes and most of the peppers will go in containers. Other vegetables, like summer squash, will be direct sown once the weather warms up.
