And, yes, those are painted coffee cans I'm using for plant pots. They've held up amazing well; I think this is year 4 for them, and they've sat out all winter.

Yes. Those are the Hulahoop Blue. (Yeah, I know they're purple Hilarious! ) And they seem to come true from seeds I've collected.

Gorgeous photos, Joanne. Loved the coffee can pots and the Hulahoop Blues, Woofie (did you grow those from seed?)

Oh yes those are the ones! Beautiful! I grew Sweetunia Bordeaux but they got mildew so bad I trashed them, yours are wonderful. Our spring was wet, wet, wet, and cold. After seeing yours may try again in the spring. Green Grin!

Thanks, Karen! I love those Sophisticas, and so far they've come fairly true from seeds. Ha! The coffee cans were the only things I could find that would fit in the cheapo little plant stand I picked up. Here's a shot that shows the whole plant stand. It's kind of flimsy, so I have it lashed to some rebar buried in the ground behind it to help keep it upright.
