Hi all
As this pandemic enfolds Please stay safe
There is still joy in the plant life waking up in spring
I received my David Austin roses and unfortunately I did not buy any potting soil or containers for them (New York on lock down due to corona virus)
I planted one of them in a container that had another plant in it and the other one I planted in my raised bed in very tight situation
NOW THE BIG QUESTION : I mixed some left over TOPSOIL from last year in the container mixed with potting soil WILL IT BE OK FOR THE ROSE ??
STAY SAFE EVERYONE

I think it will be okay as long as you transplant asap.
Hopefully that soil has nothing harmful in it.
But since it's temporary, I think you're good to go.
You will LOVE your David Austin's!
Goregous roses.
