The Chelsea Flower Show 2012 (Part 2)

By NEILMUIR1
September 1, 2012

The Chelsea Flower Show is an eagerly awaited event after our long winter. It is the first time everyone gets together and can see the new plants as well as creations of sculptors and artists. A lot of gardeners use it as a social event, or to order sensational plants for the coming season in whatever variety interests them. On the final day a lot of the plants are sold off and London is awash with a sea of plants. It is a truly amazing sight!

Dear Marilyn, no it is better than last years as it was not raining! Rolling on the floor laughing Now I will have to look for Purslane for Vicki as well, another thing on my list of jobs to do! I do not need to look for Garden Art as there was tons of it at Hampton Court!
Regards from far away.
Neil.

WOW! I agree with everyone else, these photo's are superb, and I love reading your article, as you walk us through the displays! I think my favorite photo is of the yellow orchid! It looks like an awesome painting with the pretty green leaves!
Great job Neil!

Dear Linda, you would have loved it there! Pimms or ice cold white wine? Well it was hot for us, to say the least. Rolling on the floor laughing
Just wait for Hampton Court, then you will see what my camera can do when it wants to! It is a bit like the wife, temperamental at times, but it had a good day at the Palace. Maybe after three months of rain it was happy to see a bit of sun, who knows.
Hope you are well?
The wine and Belgian beer awaits you.
Group hug Lovey dubby
