I've seen pictures of things in your yard, and its Beautiful Terri. Unfortunately, we can't do any flowers because the deer just mow 'em down. But, it's always great when I see that a fellow gardener has a beautiful garden full of flowers and things.
And hey, I can't be to upset, because I still have my succulents!

I have a huge deer problem here too. Except for the tulips, all the things blooming in the photos are plants that the deer are leaving alone here.

Ah, ok.
Which flowers are they? I've never seen them in our garden centers here. Must be flowers that only thrive in your zone.
Haha now I'm super interested, because if I can have beautiful flowers like that without them being eaten by the deer, then I'm going to be very happy!

But, we do have mule deer, which will eat almost anything in the winter (even my succulents!), so I'll have to definitely be careful with the flowers if I do get them.
Many of my deer resistant plants have just been mowed down without the deer even thinking twice. Supposedly mule deer are one of the worst for gardening.
We just HAD to move to a place with deer like that D'Oh!

The most common flower here in our neighborhood that our deer never eat are the hot lips (sage).

It looks like your hardiness zone is 9b. I just looked up most of the flowers in my photos and unfortunately it seems like the top end of the hardiness zone is 8 (pulmonaria, polemonium reptans, primula sieboldii, daffodils, summer snowflake). The two that may be hardy in zone 9 are the bleeding hearts - both fringed and old fashioned.
