Thanks, Kim! I have to agree. As a tree lover, I treasure these mature giants wherever I find them. You have giant sequoias in California. We can't quite compete with them, but some of our oaks, maples, hickories, and beeches are pretty neat.

Yes definitely, the sequoias get big. The redwoods definitely do too. We have about 10 young redwood trees growing along the side of our house.
