Rose1656 said:I remember Chris from Hallson Gardens recommending Lysol wipes because it's actually better on viruses than bleach. I think I'll try a Lysol liquid... can't hurt! Thanks for the spray bottle idea!

How strong do you make your solution?

The little bottle I carry in my purse I use a cap full and fill with water. It is those spray bottles in those travel make up sets.

The one in the kitchen and bath I make it in a gallon bottle to fill the squirt bottle. I use a cup of beach per gallon.

Since the virus scare I have been using pure clorox on the counter when I bring in food after shopping. Maybe over kill but I just want to be safe.

We are learning a lot about cleaning with the latest disease scare, like washing your hands long enough. It is the same with cleaning anything it has to be wet long enough to work.

I'm still shocked at how long 20 seconds can be when washing hands! I never gave it a thought before. It's like watching the clock at work... time stands still! Hilarious!

Like brushing your teeth, the recommended time is 2 minutes

Washing my hands 20 seconds was something I never noticed but the teeth brushing forever I always did. I do not know why but it always take me a long time to brush my teeth. Getting all the back teeth is a job. Add too the crazy swish with peroxide for 3 min. It takes a lot to clean teeth.

Proper oral hygiene will pay off for you down the road! I don't have a single friend that has said, " Man! I just love my dentures!"

I think with the young people it is the busy life. Back in the day parents were into Wash your hands inspect, brush your teeth inspect, clean, clean, clean, parents do not have the tine anymore for all that inspection.
My mom was Inspector Clouseau. You did not brush your teeth, wash your hands, or anything that was to be cleaned her clue was.....you were not in there long enough go back and do it again. Rolling on the floor laughing
