You may wish to find other members to send them a tree-mail, acorns, or to view their profile page to see their database contributions or view their plant list.

I was just searching for someone in particular and found her this way. I need to learn to read the fine print and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page!

I really like the ATP member map.

If people list a recognizable address in their public profile, Dave set up a zoom-able map application that will show who lives approximately where.

http://garden.org/users/memberlist/map.php

For example, near Kingwood TX, I see Moodine, rucky and MGLane. If you wanted to set up a plant swap, you might Treemail them and the 20 or so other members near Houston.

Edited to add:

I see that Dave has added a "Search by location" box to the Memberlist page.

I met Rucky through this site. We did a swap of sorts though he was far more generous compared to what I had to offer. What a Gem he is!! He's moved away and I am trying to get over the fact my Sensei is 4 hours away from us now.
