Thread OP
orange county, New York State.
It's April 26 and I'm in zone 6. I read that it's good to "jump start" the lawn early by starting to mow it so the grass starts growing, but my grass is only about 1.5 inches off the ground. Should I scalp it or just be patient and wait for it to come alive on its own? Weeds have already started to spread and flourish in there so I am really eager for it to start growing.
