I have been collecting daylilies for 10 yrs. because of health issues and family commitments I need to downsizing my gardens! These are beautiful, healthy, plants. This will be a great chance to plant a bare hillside, they will make a beautiful drift, or a nice gift for a friend. I am shipping 25 mixed plants per box. Shipping will be $12.00 ThanksThumb of 2012-09-16/bluegrassmom/606ca8

So do you figure it'll be 10 different varieties? 24 or 25 varieties? I'm not sure how you've organized your "mix" or if there's any chance of asking to skew the colors (eg, for me I would love to be able to ask no peach, orange, orange-red, or gold).

I'm planting irises like a madwoman at the moment, but we'll see what happens by the end of the week... :-)
I'm learning to dance in the rain. Thank you, Sally & Chris.

Hi, would you like a box of purples, yellows, and pinks? I send at least 5-6 varieties. I do have some other plants that I am downsizing that I can dig. Just LMK I am digging a box for Sharon, here on ATP and a few local orders. I also have my inventory of named at www.plantstep.com website. Just click on catalog, scroll down until you see my name. If you see some of those you like I am selling them at a discount.

Thanks,

Thanks for that link... picking out named varieties is probably the best way for me to go, as I'm no longer "just starting out" with them... I'll have some time to browse next week and am looking forward to it!

Jill, I will be shipping for about another wk to zone 6 or colder. Later than that, they will have a hard time getting started. LMK what you like. Several are not available but just send a list and I will give you a discounted price.

I swear I would be in tears now if I were parting with those daylilies. Good thing you know they are going to good homes. But I sure would keep a fan or two for myself if it were me.

Thanks, Teresa.

And by the way, I'm zone 7a-b; the climate hasn't made up its mind yet. Big Grin
At any rate, my planting time includes weeks into October.

It is funny how you can get so attached to plants, pets are one thing but plants are quite another. I just enjoy the fact that I am sharing God's beauty with others.

The mail travels much faster than I do. I got the fans today, Teresa, and they are wonderful!
Wow! Like Christmas in September.

Now if it will only rain a little to soften up the garden, I can get them planted right away.

Of course I'll get them planted quickly anyway, it's just that the rain sure would help with the digging part.

Thank you so much!
