I have been collecting daylilies for 10 yrs. because of health issues and family commitments I need to downsizing my gardens! These are beautiful, healthy, plants. So do you figure it'll be 10 different varieties? 24 or 25 varieties? I'm not sure how you've organized your "mix" or if there's any chance of asking to skew the colors (eg, for me I would love to be able to ask no peach, orange, orange-red, or gold).

I'm planting irises like a madwoman at the moment, but we'll see what happens by the end of the week...

Thanks for that link... picking out named varieties is probably the best way for me to go, as I'm no longer "just starting out" with them... I'll have some time to browse next week and am looking forward to it!

It is funny how you can get so attached to plants, pets are one thing but plants are quite another. I just enjoy the fact that I am sharing God's beauty with others.

The mail travels much faster than I do. I got the fans today, Teresa, and they are wonderful!
Wow! Like Christmas in September.

Now if it will only rain a little to soften up the garden, I can get them planted right away.

Of course I'll get them planted quickly anyway, it's just that the rain sure would help with the digging part.
