I don't have Ulrich Brunner Fils, but I have the other two and you're going to love them. Both of them get really, really big.

What are you getting from Garden Crossings?

I get alot of annuals from them. I really like their selection and they're within driving distance from me. One of my favorite local nurseries.

I find this the happiest time of year in the garden, when all the garden's promise exists almost fully formed in the imagination but none of the problems do. For me this sense of hopefulness lasts until the day the plants arrive and the seeds go into the ground. Then things slide downhill until next winter.

Here's hoping each of us experiences the same sense of joyful anticipation this spring, but that each also finds most of their gardening dreams fulfilled through the season.

Steve - I actually LOL'd at your "sense of hopefulness lasts until the day the plants arrive and the seeds go into the ground. Then things slide downhill until next winter." I'd swear that you'd been in my garden w/that attitude.. I have such high hopes & aspirations.. to have most of them come crashing into the ground right around September/October when I realize that about half of what I wanted to accomplish is what I got done.. and why oh why did I waste so much time with other dumbdumb stuff?
Roses are one of my passions! Just opened, my Etsy shop (to fund my rose hobby)! http://www.etsy.com/shop/Tweet...

Sounds aaaall too familiar...especially when I have this long list of projects that never get done and that I'm going to feed my roses every month and that never gets done.
Last year I hired a girl to weed for me.
At least that got done. *Blush*
