It looks like we need to have a cultivar no matter what. Should we have the option of Trade Name and/or Cultivar? That would be a solution. Then if the Trade Name variety gets registered, we would just add the cultivar at that point.

I think if you have a trade name but no cultivar, then use the trade name for both fields.

Dave I used to be able to do a search in the sempervivum 'Search by characteristis' for series of semps. That is not available anymore. Am I missing something?

The series name is now part of the main plant's name so it's no longer available in the advanced search by characteristics.

Just do a text search for the series name and it'll come up.

Where would I do this search?
We had so many semp people that loved the ability to pull up plants belonging to a specific series.

I figured it out.

Sempervivum, then the name of the series. That brings up only semps within the series.
