One lesson I learned right away from reading alot as I waited for my first shipments was to keep records of every daylily seed/plant so if tags are lost you can narrow it down.
If you would have a mind at peace, a heart that cannot harden, go find a door that opens wide upon a lovely garden.

Welcome my Friend!!

I just had to share our site with you since you are going to be growing sooooooo many seeds!!! Unlike the other "groups" that teach people how to control their addictions, we very happily encourage you to "grow" your addictions. Also, we even encourage you to grow other plants too, since so many perennials look great with our daylilies. I think this is by far the best place to learn about growing and hybridizing daylilies and even tomatos!!! Our dear Rita showed off her 100+ tomato plants this year so much that I just know that sales of tomatos went up drastically in our area food and veggie stores. So, we try to stay on topic but we've all had a bunch of fun with tomatos and other plants on this site. Julie is our "moderator" and we do manage to keep her busy. She's the one that can answer you questions concerning the site if you have a question that you want to ask that might be a bit private.

To send Juli a question, go back to the first page and look on the right side of your screen. You will see a blue box with info. The first line:

"Welcome to the Daylilies Forum! Contact daylily "Juli" with Daylily forum questions or concerns." Just click on "Juli" and it will take you to her page and you should be able to send her a "Treemail"==== our version of on site email and it's private. If you look at the very top right corner of your screen you'll see the word "TREE-MAIL" When this is highlighted in red, you have a new tree mail. I'll send you one so you can see it. I just sent you a "Treemail".

If you have any other questions, just start asking away. Someone on here more than likely can answer or provide a link where you can find the answers.

Have you been to the AHS site yet??? That's another wonderful place, of course not quite as friendly as us Big Grin , but great!

Now, Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! and have fun!
