Looks good Fred, I'm so envious of you folks in the south. Looks like maybe someday I will have to become a snowbird and spend my winters somewhere warm just so I can start my seeds earlier!! Drooling Hilarious! Hilarious!

Ah, Fred. They look so nice and healthy. The ones I planted
(seeds) are small seedlings now, but look nothing like the
growth on yours. Very nice!!!

Fred, thanks for the pictures. Your seedlings look great! Until now, I had no idea that there would be a difference in growth between dips and tets. Any idea why that is? I'll have to go look at my babies tomorrow and see if the dips are taller. This is really interesting!

I did not take a photo of the 2011s when they were seven weeks old, but by Jan 29 the tets had caught up and passed the dips in the 2011 seedlings, we will see if this happens this time.

Fred,

I just LOVE how you trim your beds with the white lattice panels. It just looks so picture perfect.

Fred, In your raised beds, do you put your soil mix in there or, do you put your plants in pots? Are these your display beds or where you "line out" your plants to sale?

I'm having a terrible time with tree roots getting into my pots. I raise all of mine in pots. I'm seriously considering building some raised beds like yours. Do you put plywood down for the bottom? I'd guess whatever goes on the bottom is treated?? Thanks Mona

I have been in Awe of Fred's raised beds for a long time and he inspired me to build some but they are not quite the same since we are so much colder. Everything is sure looking good there Fred.
