Here's my melon patch this morning, I've had to put a clip around the growth of each plant, training them to grow up.

They are cantaloupes, not honeydew, I haven't grown honeydew ever.
Today I broke one branch of watermelons while clipping them to the pole, this explains why I never like tying them. But I had to do it.

They'll be ok though, right?

Yes, they are not the main branch, but I didn't know how I broke it is the problem.

Most likely cantaloupes, I don't think I ever grown muskmelons before.

That's good. (About it not being a main branch I mean)

Hmm, losing hope w/ my melon seeds. I planted them and not a single sign of growth. I'm afraid I may have frozen them. I left them out for one night (the first night) because I had forgotten that they needed to come in at night.

I hope they will emerge, how long ago did you plant them.

First one was four days ago. Last year they almost immediately sprouted. Especially since I placed the so close to the surface.

Yes, I would wait a while, even the same seed variety, some will take longer time then the other.

Oh, definitely wait...especially since you apparently had some cool/cold days after planting.
