Thread OP

I bought seedlings, dirt, and wood for a raised bed last weekend. Guess what? I didn't get it all together in a day! I was planning to fill the beds and plant today...but we (Detroit) are getting rain for 3 days straight.

The recommended planting date was last weekend; I've had the seedlings outside for a week and they look great...but how urgent is it for me to plant?

A second question...is there any problem with putting a raised bed on very wet ground?

Thanks for your help!

No problems terlep. Just proceed with your plan as the plant out date is just a good time to start but will not hurt you plants. The wet ground is a non issue. Go ahead and get your garden going. Good luck.
