Thread OP

I'm completely new to succulent planting and have recently acquired several plants from my local garden center. First, I'd love if someone can ID this echeveria for me. I think it's kinda looks like "tippy" but I have also noticed many other varieties of echeveria to have pinkish red tips as well so I'm not sure. Secondly, unfortunately I have noticed these dark almost black spots/patches on the petals. Is that some sort of fungal infection? What should I do?

Can we see the whole plant? I'd like to try and figure out what the problem might be. What kind of light does it get? What kind of water does it get?
