It's fall and that means it is time to plant bulbs for spring blooms. I'm joined by Jay Hutchins, grin-eral manager of Brent & Becky Bulbs and he's going to give us a primer on these cheerful spring blooming plants.

Now I just have to try the leucojum. Never ever heard of it till now.
And I like the way he explained how plants know to protect themselves when stressed. I watched the same thing happen during our drought this summer.

I hadn't heard of it, either, although I think I already have some. In the spring when they bloom again I'll know for sure.
