I feel almost embarrassed for needing help with my other succulent! But as a new succulent owner, I just want to make sure I adjust properly to how they're taken care of/what I'm doing wrong.. so they can live long healthy lives.

So, my jade plant's bottom leaves, on one side of it.. have grown quite squishy? I watered it last on the 17th, and before that on the 9th. I give it about 2-3oz of water each time.
On one side of the plant, this is the issue. On another side, the leaves appear to be healthy, shiny, not squishy at all.
I wonder if I'm giving the one side more sunlight than the other?
I've looked at videos on YouTube to try and get an idea of what I could be doing wrong. But there's too many over/underwatering signs that are similar and I couldn't find one for my situation.
The leaves are not yellowing, they're just losing how shiny they are, and getting quite squishy.. on one side of the pot.
What do you guys think? Could I be underwatering? Overwatering? Neither?

It looks fine to me. Water well (to completion, until water comes out the holes in the bottom) and then make sure the pot is not in standing water afterwards. Wait for the soil to go dry or nearly dry at depth (not just at the surface) before watering again. You might water weekly at this time of year given good light. There are lots of variables but the one that matters when you're trying to arrive at a good watering interval is the soil moisture at depth.

Rotate the pot every time you water and it should not lean or favor any particular direction.

Sometimes the issue is that the soil has become compacted and the water doesn't penetrate to the roots. It's not uncommon with the peat moss mixes big growers use. If the soil seems to be having trouble hydrating, submerge the pot up to the level of the soil in a bowl of water and let it soak. I usually have to hold them down. I wait until the pot stops trying to bob to the surface like its made of cork. Then let it drain all the excess water out before returning it to its sunny spot. From then on, water should be able to penetrate to the roots during your regular watering without having to repeat the whole messy process all over again.

It's a very nice looking little jade plant. Beautiful stress coloring.
