Were the number of lines displayed in forum signature blocks recen tly reduced from three to two?

Or is it just my browser? I recently decreased my screen resolution and I'm using IE7 at work.

I see two lines of all your signs ... IE7 and 1024x768 pixles. Right now I'm running remotely - a PC at work with IE7 accessed remotley from home, I think at a sligthly different resolution. Later, if I switych some cables around, I can run FireFox and see what I can see.

There is loads of room in each sig box for another row or even two.

I blame IE7, just becuase of "IBM".

Sheesh. IE strikes again! You'd think with their resources, MS could come up with a decent browser....... Confused
Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.

Well, I haven't updated to IE8 yet ... and IE9 is supposed to be out now or soon.

Probably MS builds in some things that only they support, expecting to deter people from using anything else.

But in the case of browsers, I think the world is more interested in non-MS browsers and IE is being left behind.

I think the average gtardener is a better experimental scientist than many academic ivory-tower types. We try things and observe the results, keep what works and vary what doesn't work.

Instead of defending some pet theory or our tenure, or declaring that every vegetable in the entyire Brassica rapa species "have negligible genetic differecnes" aqnd hence MUST have the same approved name. I'd like to sneak into their dining room and swap their turnips for Mizuna roots, and their Rapini for Bok Choy. See if they can tell the difference that way!
