Clarence am I correct in assuming those are drain holes in the pot? I've never seen glazed pots with drain holes and often wondered why! I know they are out there but have never seen any.

the drain are there so the plants don't sit in water, the other side of the pot is for water I left the damn between them unglazed so water will slowly seep through into the plant side of the pot.selfwatering you might say.Rucky thanks,I have one pot in a sawdust fire right now, curing, hopefully it doesn't crack, plan on firing a couple clay pipes in a couple days.

So, Clarence, what is the inspiration that guides you to make this new creation? I can think of a few things... Not a salad bowl, or a jet airplane.
