Hope y'all get enough.....we're being told to expect 3-5" of rain....I've no idea what your area might get....but wouldn't be surprised if it's a couple of inches....at least. hope so!

They are saying 2-7" and possible flooding for Houston. They are not sure. I guess that is a good way to hedge your bets. I can handle the rain. We need it. It is the winds, tornado, and hail they are predicting that bother me. I just brought out all the plants from the garage to get a big drink and some fresh air. I hope they don't get whiplash!

We never count on a drop of rain until it has fallen, but we did put out extra hay for the cows today. Tomorrow all we have to do is open the gate to that pasture, and no one has to get on the tractor. The winter grass is short but turning green after a shower we had a couple of weeks ago, but we do really need a soaking rain.

3" so far! Rain is so nice! And we finally got the furnace fixed yesterday (we had been waiting for a part). Then, DH said that hey,the heat's just not coming on...but the temp was too high by then for it to turn on!

We've had 3.6" of rain since yesterday. Still raining. Love the rain, not so much the dark and dreary days.

Going to be 65° this afternoon! We had the heaters on in the hoops and I found a Bird of Paradise (that's in ground) blooming a couple of days ago!

Linda,I hope you hubby is doing well. I am a therapist and work a lot with people who have had strokes. You are right to post information about getting to a stroke certified hospital FAST.
Glad to hear of your retirement, Lee. Congrats!
