Datura - love the fragrance and the blossoms! I think the flash from the camera washed out the purple tinges from the night time shots.

Not too fond of that sphinx moth, Sheryl. Rolling my eyes. If I plant any more it will be impossible to walk thru our small yard. Hilarious! Believe me I could not plant enough to get ahead of the caterpillars this year. Sad

I actually bought a small agave today because it had one on it. Unfortunately, the bunnies ate my Datura. Grrrrrr....

You bought a plant because it had a caterpillar on it ? Blinking I am thinking I should pack up some of my finer caterpillars and send them to you ! Hilarious! No bunny problems here.

My daturas are currently denuded but will be leafy again in a few days. I do miss having a couple of cute bantam chickens to control my caterpillars in a more natural way. Rolling my eyes.

Now that is a good idea, Jackie ! Thumbs up However some of my hornworms were so big I am afraid they would scare a chicken away. Rolling on the floor laughing

Strangely enough, my Daturas got eaten too - but by the bunnies. They must be immune to the poison in them, I haven't found a carcass yet.... At least they didn't try the seed pod. Those puppies are no easy target, yikes!
