Anyone other than Gloria seen that much snow at once? I remember living upstate NY (Watertown, 13601, off of the St. Lawrence river & Lake Ontario) where the snow usually built up 8-12ft on the berms. But 45ft? That's unreal. Now, mind you, you won't see 45 ft piles of snow.. it's packed & melted so it'd only be like 10-12ft deep. But that's still ridiculously deep.

LaFartsville! LOL that's what we called it. Heart Castle.. you mean the castle there in Alexander Bay? Never actually went there.. was too busy fishing. LOL

yup thats the place LOL I love going to the castle there fixing it all up its beautiful and the grounds are lovely the kids little castle by the water is so cute My daughter-in - law grew up there umm not at the castle I'm going to fish at Moon lake they have a camp there can't wait !!!!!!!

OMG!! My father is trying to sell their house there in Oxbow!! I've fished at moon lake, caught some nice bass there (out of season of course).

Toni - from what I've heard, the Rockies had a plethora of snow this year! A friend lives in Squaw Valley outside of Tahoe, and they broke all kinds of snowfall records this year. I think he said 800+ inches this year, and their snow season isn't quite done yet..

Dahlia - that's because Calgary is too frickin' COLD to snow!!! Brrrr!!!

Vail pass is getting another 8-12" of snow today... Just won't stop snowing in the mountains!! At least the mountain reservoirs are going to be full.. But the white-water rapid boating companies are hurting right now because its still too cold for runoff. Spring's running about a month & a half late.

We ate lunch here last year. It's a 16' roof.
