I happened upon this hosta in an adjacent neighborhood. I'd like to add it to my wish list, but I first need to identify it. It was planted next to June and seemed to be about the same size. Any genius hosta addicts out there?

I don't know but it sure is a beauty! I would love that on my list too. Maybe a Guacamole sport like Ambrosia or Avocado?, although they might tend to be bigger than June. The leaves look very shiny. Hope someone can confirm for you.

I was thinking Avocado myself other then size difference , could be a younger plant. I think Avocado darkens later in the season.

Thanks for your educated guesses so far. It's even better in person than in the photograph, the streaks more pronounced. It's definitely not Rainbow's End, but it reminded me a little of RE.

Yes Rainbow's End was my first thought when I saw it but I decided it couldn't' be when after years mine is still so puny haha.
