Thread OP

So, I live in an extremely warm climate (we're talking 115 in the summer, 60 in the winter). I would love to grow some tropical plants at about 80 degrees. Does anyone have ideas on how to cool a mini greenhouse I plan on getting? (I'll ensure that the greenhouse is shaded, so that means it'd get up to 80 outside or 100 in the greenhouse. Thoughts?

My greenhouse is set up so the worst heat I get is 103F. I grow tropicals with no problem. I have no special cooling except a solar fan, 3 vents and a screened window in the door. I also run a fan 24 hrs a day. That helps keep insects at bay too.

Hi @Eglass and welcome to the forum. Welcome!

When you say "mini greenhouse" what size are you talking about? You may also want to look into an evaporative cooler for a small greenhouse.
