i purchased a succulent labeled

Echeveria 'sleepy'
Echeveria Hybrid

I can't find anything with this name. I put it outside just like i do all the succulent i buy and the next day it looked all scarred up.The next morning the scarred places had turned black.I also bought a sedum nussbaumerianum the same day and it done the same thing.I am going to bring them in put them under lights and hope.

Any way i bought another echeveria 'sleepy' Confused it's a nice looking plant.

If anyone can ID the succulent i will really appreciate it then maybe i won't do whatever i did wrong to the first one because the picture of it with scars, those turned black & the leaves fell off so the 1st. plant really looks bad.I hope i can keep this one ok until it's IDed.

Thanks in advance

Sorry I can't help with ID but it looks sunburned. Probably likes a lot of sun but got too much, too soon.

The southern sun can be quite intense and might be to harsh for it. Maybe some morning sun and bright light the rest of the day.

There is an Echeveria 'Sleepy', and yours looks just like the photos I found in a google search.
