Especially wonderful after your brown summer! I'm so glad that your ice storm damaged trees have flourished again and rewarded you for sparing them. That brilliant blue is my favorite sky color!
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

So fortunate to have all that beautiful color around you. How wonderful to be able to sit out on a deck with a cup of coffee just enjoying nature.

It's only now that I've been able to do that, Pegi. Now and very early spring. The summer was quite ruined by heat and drought, but these are the good days now. I didn't get much done today because I kept playing in the leaves and watching that wonderful blue sky and just enjoying the roses that never had a chance to bloom till now.

It was a very good day. I hope it's cooling down for you, too.

Sounds to me like you got A LOT done... you refreshed your soul by playing in the leaves, enjoying the roses, and luxuriating in the brilliant blue sky. Time well spent, my friend -- time very well spent. Thumbs up

Sharon, for me, having endured a difficult summer makes appreciation of the fall changes that much deeper. I am happy that your area is getting back to normal. That blue sky is an instant, "Ah..." Smiling

And today is another of those 'refresh my soul' days.
I think it might be the colored leaves against the sky that make it look so much blue-er. But it is truly gorgeous around here right now.

We had three days of drearies last week and lots of wind, so I didn't get much done aside from rambling around outside a few times. This looks to be the perfect week coming up. Progress will be made!

Yep, Debra, it was a difficult summer here too, but oh yes, the sky!!

What beautiful reds and yellows! And topping it all off is that gorgeous blue sky. Glad the rains came and helped bring out the colors.
