Ah, Driftwood, a great addition to any rock garden. Where I used to live, the skeleton of fallen branches of the the tall cactus, Cholla, was great addition to any garden. Wish I had saved and taken some to CA where I live now. Small pieces of the skeleton would look nice in my semp bed now.

Ah yes - cool stuff. Should one die in my proximity, I'll let you know!

Tarev,

Would you let me know how much dish liquid, tabasco, alcohol to how much water you use for bugs on your plants? I would much rather try that than an insectide.
A green thumb comes only as a result of the mistakes you make while learning to see things from the plants point of view!!

I just have a spray bottle of water and I put a drop or two of dishwashing liquid, a tbsp of tabasco sauce and a tsp of alcohol. Before I do not put the tabasco sauce..but I read it somewhere and tried adding it..it works very well versus the pesky aphids. Smiling Shake well, and I do the spraying early in the morning before the sun hits the plants.

Just pray a breeze doesn't come up and blow that concoction back on you, lol!

I bet that just about any amount of that would kill most pests.

And gloves! You probably are smarter than I am and use them when dealing with spiny things, anyway.... *duh* ... or are your succulents all non-spiny?

Most of my succulents are non-spiny..but I do have a collection of cacti, they are in their own pot, so I know to be very careful in handling them nodding
