I am another fan of Bert. My husband and I plant a huge number of bulbs each year and we always include an order or two or three orders from Bert at Touch of Nature as his bulbs are certainly always nice big fat and happy bulbs that are blooming size for the spring when he ships them. His shipping and packing is always stellar too.

Thanks, You are welcome to visit anytime, but Nantucket is kind of a long way from Texas. I grew up in Oklahoma in a house that had little in the way of a garden. My family did plant a nice selection of trees and a couple of rose bushes and some boring foundation shrubs, but no bulbs that I recall. I had a quarter horse that would chomp off every rose bud on those poor shrubs. I got the gardening bug when I moved to Nantucket in the 60's. We started this garden after building the house in 1981. We have been at it ever since, but more seriously since we retired in 2002. Love the spring bulbs the most. Have no worries about anything you get from the Dutchman. He really is one and a fine vendor of bulbs. . Patti

I will put in a small order. I have problems with deer eating my tulips, so I may start some in containers and have them on the porch. I have a very tiny crocus that comes up very early but was looking for the large showy type.

I bought a bunch last year and when they bloomed I wanted to add 'Tom Pounce' to data base and it was rejected. It was not true to name. I went back to cubits and complained but Bert had nothing to say and never even offered an apology much less a refund. I threw all 50 into the trash. I am done with Bert.

There is a Lilium 'Tom Pouce' in the database: Lily (Lilium 'Tom Pouce')

I put in a small order. I haven't planted any bulbs in a few yrs! Looking forward to having some again, now hoping the deer stay away.

No. I always spell it wrong. It was not the real Tom Pounce, I will get one some day.
