Is this supposed to happen? The plant is indoors with a little direct light.

I have one outside, and the blooms stay on it a few days.
Maybe it takes a long time to grow, but remember that if nobody plants it, nobody has it.

Hmm this pattern has kept up. This 6" potted plant has been blooming 6+ new flowers a day. But they just keep falling off even though I've been keeping the soil moist. Do you think it's related to sun exposure?

When they're unhappy in their environment, this is the first way the plants make it known. If your jasmine is getting too little water, the roots can't move through the soil and collect nutrients. This can cause leaves to dry up and fall off. Too much water can be just as bad for your plant.

I havent had any leaves dry up and still pretty good leaf growth. Just the flowers falling off quickly. Would lack of fertilizer be part of that unhappy environment? I havent given it any

I have a sambac indoors south facing right up against the window. From opening time, the blooms stay white for about 1-2 days then begins to turn purple and drops off in another day or two.
