Lived in a apartment for 22 years. In one which I lived in, I was not married so other then plants I had 80 aquariums going. I was way into breeding Tetras. Second one, I had kids and that had no aquariums but was packed full of plants. Apartment/ Indoors is a very harsh environment with very little humidity and the heat makes the atmosphere very first time I cannot find the correct word .
Very few plants adjust to that atmosphere.

But Pia has clever ways of growing them outdoors.

I was also growing them outside on the balcony. Inside even with all that humidity . It is stuffy, polluted, smoke, frying, perfumes, etc all float around. If you go for Palms , Ficus , Aspidistra , Dracena's these kind of things, ok.

Believe it or not, I have found plants that will do really great, despite all that! You are right though, not many like it in urban apartments.x

Pia we also suffer from dry dessicating atmosphere in summer with indoor temps crossing 34c. That takes care of the rest.

How exciting about Semp week! Can't wait! I will do a photo collage of my "semp bed" green wall thingy...by then it should be able to stand up for a quick photo so it'll look pretty cool
