Oh Lookee, Lookee !!

This is growing right next to the foundation, probably beneath the foundation...cuz I'd tried to dig and move it 6 years ago and looked like I would kill it in doing so...tried again this past Winter, no luck....so I've left it...leaf looked awfully familiar, thought it to be something worthwhile, walked past there a few minutes ago and...Oh my !! It's a Philadelphus !! ADORE Philadelphus ! I think that since I limbed up the Cameliia blocking it, the extra light has brought it to life...going to leave it where it is and thin out the branches on the camellia, which I'd planned to do anyway....yay !!

First Oakleaf Hydrangea bloom...

Thumb of 2020-07-26/GypsyWC/88dcca

The Luma is flowering very heavily with its 6th year in-ground...very sad because it's hit by the Wilt and it currently blocks the house across the road and blocks the bright light from their barn light at night...sigh...it had been growing so well...

These are a couple of Stipa 'Ichu'.....love all of the Stipas and very happy with the way these have taken off and how tall they're getting...have 30-some sown seedlings so far and will be using a lot of them, I think.....will fill some in around the Hydrangea there.....

Oh, I see some Ox-Eye Daisies are popping up in this bed...as usual, I like the way they look there, so will let some grow and weed out what I don't want...the Daisies always somehow bring things to 'life'...

The well's water pump went out last night....sigh...Jer's spent the day rebuilding it...rather than replacing at the cost of a thousand bucks..yikes....and I want to go water.....he doesn't quite understand what I feel when I see something wilting....showers can wait, but......

lol..I'm nuts about verbascums and I really love that one...one of our members, Keith back in N.Y., knew that I wanted the Governor George Aiken Verbascum and sent some to me and the the next year, for some reason didn't get seed from his...and I feel bad that I can't send some back since the seed may carry the wilt.....
I have an odd garden...no plan, just trying to find room for the things I feel I have to have....lol..and Bex keeps saying, "Here, do you want this...?"

Yes, have water and need to do that tomorrow......
