Hello everyone!

I've been lurking on this forum for a couple weeks reading a lot of the posts and admiring all the adeniums. I've had one of the typical ordinary pink ones for a few years and only this summer had discovered that there are many other bloom varieties. It sent me into an immediate obsession of my already favorite plant. Come spring time I plan on trying to get my hand on some new varieties. Might even order some seeds just to get the experience (love growing things from seeds anyway) and maybe get some good root stock for future grafting if seeds don't bloom to specific varieties that I hope for since that's a touch and go situation. I did recieve a triple rich red with almost black edges (Rik Ni RaN) and a large double rich blood red with darker edges (Tang Dark Blood) as a gift from my sister since I just blew a lot of money on a new Canon T4i/650D dslr camera. So here are a few pics testing out the new toy on my small but growing adenium family.

Enjoy, Kirk

Thanks for all the welcomes and comments. And thanks to adding to my obsession by alerting me to the fact Mr Ko has some "buy it now" seeds. I may be scraping the change jar tomorrow to see about getting 2-3 variety packs. LOL

Good for you, Kirk, the surprise of a new blossom opening for the first time is a joy. I am awaiting what looks like to be a double red, and another that's supposed to have a lot of blue in it. It's very difficult to NOT pull on the petals before they are all the way open. Adeniums surely take their time doing anything that they do! (EXCEPT rot, hahahahahaha)
