NELLY MOSER & JACMANI PLANTED SIDE BY SIDE EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS
I planted a Nelly Moser clematis next to a Jacmani. Every Spring the Nelly Moser comes up from the ground first and starts to bloom large beautiful blooms but then the Jacmani planted next to it starts coming up and it grows with a vengeance at a much faster speed and surpasses the Nelly Moser in height and size. It starts to climb really fast and thats when the Nelly Moser next to it stops blooming and climbing.
It looks like the Jacmani sort of chokes out the Nelly Moser.
Does anyone know why and what I can do?.
