Can we discuss LIGHT? -Not natural sunlight or how much you need or don't need for plants to grow properly, but the light that we as humans beings generate, especially in the last 50 years or so. Could you take a moment to think over your relationship with light in your gardens and on your property?

I live in a very rural area with thousands of wooded acres around me. Light at night is my friend. It keeps the wolves at bay. I can understand this article having great meaning for populated places but for farm living light does save livestock and maybe even human lives. Since the light in my area is not cast by many, many street lamps and businesses i still look at the night sky and see all the heaven's glory. In the evenings, even with a porch light on, the fireflies rise from the grass at dusk and go about entering the trees.

Just a different perspective.
Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing?
