Hello i am thinking of doing my front yard space as it is a small 8x8 space. The yard space faces the East morning sun until noon.

I am asking for recommendations of any perennial plants that will survive thru the winter months and also low on maintenance. which i dont have to water as much.

I live in Queens NY, zone 7A. I was thinking of using some pave stones to line part half of the lawn, add plants and mulch. while keeping the other half grass or i might lay some paver stones on the grass areas.
