Some years ago I purchased seed from multiple sources for edible purslane and grew them side by side. I don't know how easily purslane cross-pollinates, but this is the one that reseeded and which I've grown since. If I could figure out a variety name I would submit it to the plant database.
The leaves can be up to 3 inches across and are less tangy than the weed variety that has always been common here, but still moist and good.
