¡Feliz día de las gracias! from the Yucatán in Mexico. Thanksgiving has always been my favorite US holiday so it is the one that I import wherever I live. I'm making the pumpkin pies for our dinner this year and it has been fun. No canned pumpkin here so I've found the most pumpkin like squash, steamed it, pureed it and drained it in the refrigerator over cheesecloth for a day. Tonight we'll see how well it makes pies. Wishing you all much to be thankful for in the coming year.
A day without sunshine is like, you know, night.

Jonna I did that for years in Europe. It works fine! We also imported the Holiday wherever we lived.

Haha, I went to a friend's for turkey. Last year she said "one o'clock", and the food didn't show up until 5. I was faint with hunger. This year, I bumbled around, got there at 3, and the kitchen was clean, and the place was deserted!!! I guess one o'clock means different things sometimes!
